About Spéire

Named for the Irish for sky — a café that opens space for coffee, makers, and neighbours in Cork.

Coffee first, community always

Café Spéire began as a simple idea: serve exceptional specialty coffee in a room that feels like Cork’s living room. Downstairs you will find the bar, the pastry case, and shelves of Irish-made gifts. We keep the focus on the cup — and on the people who gather around it.

On quieter mornings you might find a gentle stretch class booked in our back room; most days, though, it is espresso, conversation, and the hum of the grinder.

A room made for lingering

Wood, soft light, and enough tables for both solo notebooks and lively catch-ups. We designed Spéire so the coffee bar stays the heart of the room — everything else radiates from there.

Baristas who care about the details

Our crew tastes, dials, and tweaks every morning. We partner with small-batch roasters, source food locally wherever we can, and treat the gift shelves with the same curation as the espresso menu.

Rooted in Cork

We measure success by the makers, suppliers, and neighbours who flourish alongside us — not only by cups sold. Reusable cups earn a small discount; waste and energy are tracked monthly; and our events calendar stays open to facilitators who share our values.
